Hooping is a fantastic workout that lets you move, sweat, and dance. Come learn some fun tips and tricks in a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

What to bring/wear: Hoopers should wear comfortable clothes and can go barefoot or wear sneakers or soft dance shoes (ballet, jazz, modern/lyrical, etc). Bring hoops if you have them. However, we will have plenty of hoops of all sizes available to try. We will work with you to find the right fit. 🙂

This workshop series part of DanceNL’s NL Moves series and made possible with funding from the Canada Council for the Arts. DanceNL is Newfoundland and Labrador’s sectoral dance association. Their mandate is to preserve, promote and support all forms of dance and dance activity throughout the province

Instructor: Leslie Pierce
