JOB TITLE: Membership/Research Assistant
DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: January 3 – March 28, 2011
SALARY: $20/hr, 35 hours/week (subject to funding approval)
Job Summary and Requirements:
DanceNL seeks a reliable, organized, friendly individual for a 3-month full-time contract. Primary duties will include membership recruitment and retention, promotion and awareness, and researching future opportunities for DanceNL.
The ideal candidate is:
• Familiar with Excel and MS Word as well as social media (Facebook, Twitter etc.)
• Comfortable drafting and writing press releases, email correspondence
• Comfortable speaking on the phone or presenting to small groups
• Capable of working independently under the direction of the DanceNL board
• Familiar with dance and the local dance community, or willing to learn
JOB TITLE: Website Developer
DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: January 3 – March 28, 2011
SALARY: $1250 (subject to funding approval)
Job Summary and Requirements:
DanceNL seeks a website developer to enhance and improve upon our current site
(www.dancenl.ca ) and expand our current capabilities (search, member pages, directory).
The ideal candidate is:
• Experience designing and configuring websites built with the drupal content management system
• Proficiency with SQL, PHP, JavaScript
• Expertise with CSS 2.1 and recent versions
• Experience configuring web hosting, DNS, email lists
• Experience working with a team or with clients to determine the exact needs and function of a website
• Basic graphic design skills
• Capable of working independently under the direction of the DanceNL board
• Familiar with dance and the local dance community, or willing to learn
JOB TITLE: Graphic Designer
DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: January 3 – March 28, 2011
SALARY: $700 (subject to funding approval)

DanceNL seeks a graphic designer to create an exciting logo and letterhead that best reflects our organizations’ mandate and vision.
The ideal candidate is:
• Experienced in graphic design
• Capable of working independently under the direction of the DanceNL board
