DanceNL is calling all members and potential members to attend the DanceNL Annual General Meeting on Friday November 4th.

DanceNL is a not-for-profit organization whose mandate is to preserve, promote and support all forms of dance and dance activity throughout the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Our membership is made up of dancers, dance teachers, choreographers, scholars, dance enthusiasts and audience members representing a broad spectrum of dance in the province. There are no pre-requisites for joining DanceNL – all members of the dance community are welcome.
The Annual General Meeting event is a great opportunity to learn about DanceNL’s work during the past year and to hear about new plans for 2012. As Newfoundland’s first and only sectoral dance association, DanceNL desires feedback from the community – there will be opportunities to voice opinions, brainstorm ideas and make suggestions to the board. Nomination to the Board of Directors is open to all members and a new Board will be elected.
The AGM will conclude early on Friday evening.
