Nicole is a highland dance teacher based in St. John’s, NL. She started dancing at the age of 4 in her hometown of Richmond Hill, ON with the Fitzgerald School of Highland Dance and earned her Member qualification with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing when she was 18.
As a dancer, Nicole has performed at the Richmond Hill Centre for Performing Arts, community festivals, and numerous Burns suppers. Since Newfoundland is the only province without competitive highland dance, Nicole hopes to share her love of this Scottish athletic art form through recreational classes for all ages (under the name “Newfoundhighland”) as well as community performances.
