DanceNL through its partnership with the NL Folk Arts Society (NLFAS)and the Folk Festival support performances and artists with opportunities to promote dance through its cultural significance and community wellbeing.
NLFAS Folk Festival
The NLFAS and DanceNL host dance outreach at the Folk Festival during the summertime, but the NLFAS has a number of events during the year and live streamed through their website where dance artists can also be featured with local musicians. There are also dance clubs in the province who meet regularly to share and learn heritage dances and you can find them listed in the DanceNL Directory.
